Program Description:

This session will explain how to properly leverage Life Insurance as an Asset Class, explore some of the hidden tax benefits, the effects from the IRS Secure Act, ownership and beneficiary arrangements, and the value of having policy reviews.  In addition, the speakers will also share a few brief life insurance case examples including long-term care.

Speakers:

Charles Welde, CPA, CFP®, Founder, The CP Welde Group
Charles Welde began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant after graduating from Villanova University. He has over 30 years of experience helping individuals reduce their tax bill through proper planning. In 2001, Charles saw an opportunity to integrate both tax planning and wealth planning, and created The CP Welde Group. He is a Certified Financial Planner, a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a Master Elite Ed Slott Advisor. He helps many families plan for a tax efficient retirement by creating written holistic plans that are simple to understand and easy to implement.

Phil Levin, Esq., Founder, The Levin Law Firm
Philip Levin, Esq. is a trust and estate planning attorney and principal of The Levin Law Firm with offices in Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Phil has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar for over 30 years and is an Accredited Estate Planner. His is dedicated to working with clients in order to develop comprehensive estate plans designed to protect, preserve, and distribute property in a tax-efficient manner to the beneficiaries of his clients. Phil and his family reside in the Philadelphia area and in his leisure, he enjoys photography, tennis, swimming, and bicycle riding.

Frank began his career with a reputable Certified Public Accounting Firm after graduating from Saint Joseph’s University. He spent over 30+ years of experience learning and applying the science of Wealth Optimization which he has also combined with a unique Tax Management approach.  Frank also a has a Master’s Degree in Financial Services, Chartered Life Underwriting, Life Underwriting Training Council Fellowship, Accredited Estate Planning, and a Chartered Financial Consulting Designation.  Most importantly, Frank enjoys helping friends and clients gain greater clarity, confidence, and freedom in their personal and financial lives, while using his creative problem-solving abilities in a personalized manner with passion, reliability, and integrity.
