Professional Bio
Elizabeth is Senior Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region handling appraisals as well as sales and acquisitions of art, antiques and jewelry across Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Elizabeth is also an experienced American Art Appraiser.
Prior to joining Winston Artory Group, Elizabeth was a Vice President and Senior Specialist with the American Art department at Sotheby’s. Her nine-year tenure with the company included record-setting sales of works by Norman Rockwell, Georgia O’Keeffe, Childe Hassam and Jacob Lawrence. She previously held positions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and American History from Georgetown University and a Master of Arts in the History of Art from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, where she graduated with distinction.
