Harrison Schley Appraisals, LLC provides our clients with accurate art and personal property appraisals for estate planning, tax filing, and equitable division.
Harrison Schley received his Ph.D. in Japanese history and art from the University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the International Society of Appraisers. Dr. Schley has been a Fulbright Scholar in Japan and a Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution. He has worked with museum collections across the United States and Japan, including the National Museum of Asian Art, Smithsonian Institution, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Dr. Schley has served as a professor of Japanese history and art at Fordham University and Kyushu University. As an appraiser, Dr. Schley specializes in Japanese art and Judaica.
